Let's meet the Author. An American of Armenian origin, Linda Chirinian has an extensive background in multi ethnic cuisines. Born in the Middle East, raised in the U.S. , education in Switzerland and studies at the Parson's School of Design. She speaks six different languages fluently.
Ms. Chirinian now lives in Connecticut with her husband and two sons. Previously she has resided in several Middle Eastern and European countries where she learned the secrets of the indigenous cooking. To compliment her natural talent, she has attended La Varenne in Paris and taken numerous courses with famous chefs such as Perla Meyers, Giuliano Bugialli, Nina Simmons, and John Clancy. She has created and supervised the menus of many banquets and special events, and is known as an outstanding hostess.
