ANGEL'S WATER PARK
PAGE !!
Disney has 3 really fun water parks,
Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon and River Country. The first two are awesome,
River country, we could have lived without, but it was worth
it since it was part of our World Hopper pass, so it was free (sort of).Blizzard
Beach has some awesome slides, really big ones, the kids had a blast there.
They also have a wave pool but the waves weren't that big. They have a family
raft ride, that we all went on and what a scream that was!!! Also tubing down
lazy river was very relaxing and we even caught a few rays that way. Typhoon
Lagoon has an awesome wave pool. Chris and I had a blast in it, he was running
in the waves, and I was running away!!! Every half hour a whistles blows and
water comes out of the big ship on top, and the huge waves start, everyone screams,
its a riot!!! That goes on for half an hour, then after that they have smaller
waves till the whistle blows again. Typhoon Lagoon also has a lazy river that's
really slow...very relaxing. They had a family raft ride as well, but we didn't
scream as much on that one! One thing I loved there was snorkeling with the
sharks and fish. They suit you up and you go for a swim, the sharks don't bother
you at all, but the water is very cold, so Chris wouldn't do it with me. River
Country was alright for a short time. They had some cool stuff in the man made
lagoon with a nice beach, Chris had fun, but there wasn't enough to keep you
busy all day, so we only stayed for 2 hours.
They also have a petting zoo when you come in with pony rides
and boy does it stink...peeuuuuu...but we had to experience everything and we
sure did! The World Hopper Pass gives you free reign to all three water parks
for 7 days from purchase, and looking at the prices to go to them individually,
I think we made out quite well. One note, bring water shoes, you will need them
for the wave pools, or your feet will be all scratched up for sure. And buy
them at home cause they are $10.99 at the park. The water parks open up at 10:00
am and getting to River Country is a real treat, the signs are terrible, and
you have to take a bus from the parking lot, it's a real hassle. The other two,
no problem, oh and you don't have to pay the $5.00 parking fee for the water
parks, that was cool!
Thanks for sharing the magic of Disney World with us...
