ANGEL'S EPCOT PAGE!!
We went to EPCOT Center
on Sunday, and to our
surprise the lines were minimal, and what a
great place it is! We loved the Innoventions Exhibit, where of
course, it was all computers. I even found two computers with
internet on them (AOL - boo) but I could and did send E-mails to
my friends, and family and co-workers, so it was a great find!!
We found
this cool area where you could be on TV with Jay Leno, or so it
seemed, the kids thought it was a scream to be on TV. They also
had a Virtual Reality exhibit, but you had to be 10, and Chris is
9 and Brian is 8 so they couldn't do it, they were NOT happy
campers about that rule. But the line was long anyway, so we
moved on to some of the great rides they had. One of our
Favorites was Ellen's Energy Adventure, it was hilarious, and any
age child will love it! Of course the kid's favorite was Honey I
shrunk the audience, it was 3D and really done well. The lines
for that were tremendous, but we got lucky and walked right in!
The Land Pavilion had some neat stuff in it, the Circle of Life,
and another ride which took you through all their home grown
veggies, and research being done (even by NASA).
We really
enjoyed the land of the living seas, the dolphin were having a
blast, and we stayed and checked out the tanks after the ride,
absolutely beautiful. Chris's favorite was the Body Wars at the
Wonders of Life exhibit, it was very cool, you felt like you were
really traveling though someones body! EPCOT was great, the
countries were kinda boring, so we just flew through them. Mexico
we did go into cause that has always been my favorite. So the
kids stayed outside and did a craft and Deenie and I went in and
took the boat tour. Of course every evening ends in the amazing
Illuminations laser, lights and fireworks spectacle. It is
definitely worthwhile sticking around for, but get your seat
early. Anywhere around the lagoon will do.
